Visa applications submitted on or before May 9, 2024 will have their evidence of financial capacity requirements assessed at the previous amounts.
For applications submitted from May 10, 2024, here is the new information.
Living Costs for 1st year:
student or guardian = $29,710
partner = $10,394
each child = $4,449
Annual school costs for dependent children will rise from $9,661 to 3,502.
If showing Personal Annual Income as evidence for a single applicant (ie. a parent's tax return), it increases to $87,856. The same for a couple is $102,500.
